Got a question?
Below is a list of frequently asked questions, but if we haven't covered please feel free to get in contact using the form below or by calling us on 01403 274642.
Can I hire skates?
Yes you can! We have plenty of skates available in a range of sizes (6j-12A) & the hire can be added on checkout for just £2. We also offer pads and helmet hire for £1.
Where to park?
Jubilee Car Park outside the front on The Rec building does get very busy (particularly at weekends) so we would strongly suggest you park at Swan Walk car and then walk through the underpass to get to us.
Are there any age restrictions?
No. There are no age restrictions however we ask that anyone under the age of 12 is accompanied by an adult and that you wear the appropriate protective wear.
How do I book?
Head on over to our Book Skating page!
Is the rink wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely! Just let us know whilst booking. We are also proud to offer a quiet skate session as well as free carer tickets. There are no additional costs for either of these services.
How long can I skate for?
The time on the rink for open skate sessions is 45 minutes, however you can purchase additional sessions for a discount at the time of booking.
What can I do if I don't want to skate?
If you are there just to watch, don't worry we've got you covered. There is plenty of seating around the rink and there are also plenty of refreshments available to keep you warm! At weekends you can also visit The Clubhouse Bar & Grill which is just downstairs & offers 6 pool tables and 5 large screens showing live sports.
Is there anything I should bring?
If you have your own skates and would prefer to wear those please bring them along. Please make sure you aren't wearing any long loose clothing and we strongly suggest you consider protective wear (we have pads and helmets available for hire for just £1).
